Today we had a terrific Thursday!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support our school fundraiser at Wendy's last night!
MacMillan's fundraising forms went home last Friday with students, orders are due March 8th. Proceeds from this great fundraiser go towards athletics and program enhancements. Orders will be ready for pick-up March 22nd.
We have been busy this week with all sorts of learning! I was off the last 2 days sick, it certainly goes around in Kindergarten and I can't seem to catch a break! I'm hoping March Break will give my immune system (and many of the students) a boost!
Today we:
- Had outdoor exploration
- Had literacy-read "the b" book, sang some "b" songs, did some literacy table top activities, read the Dr. Seuss book, "Horton hears a Who"
- Had math with Mrs. Robbins
- Had free play
- Did some mindfulness exercises after second recess
- I did some assessments with students and Miss Justus helped some of our friends finish their Todd Parr writing so we can send home our very own, "It's Okay to be Different" book soon!
