Today we:
- Had Outdoor Play
- Literacy Centres
- Free Exploration
- Learned our new poem for February
- Explored some changes in our classroom set-up (new Quiet Zone for self-regulation and sensory breaks, re-configured house centre, etc.)
- Had grade 2/3 reading buddies- participated in interviews-responded to questions posed by grade 3 buddies, and listened to reading
- Watched some of the movie "Inside Out" as a precursor to our "Zones of Regulation" lessons and implementation- will also be used for a mini assignment for media literacy
*Please note we sent home a hard copy of a class list of names to be used for Valentines if your child wishes to participate, we apologize for not attaching it to the newsletter sent home on Thursday, we had a busy end of our day! I understand some of you were not able to access the document on the blog with the names as well, my apologies!
We are excited for a busy week ahead of learning and fun!
