Yesterday we had a wonderful Wednesday!
We:
- Had outdoor play
- Had math with Mrs. Robbins
- Had free play
- Rehearsed our February and Valentine's Day poems
- Sang a Valentine's Day Song
- Had a mini lesson on asking questions and posed some questions for our mini inquiries
- Did some Valentine's Day activities
I was away today as I am currently fighting a cold, but I'll be back tomorrow! Miss Bradley was in for me, and I heard it was a great day.
Don't forget, tomorrow we will be celebrating Valentine's Day! The children are encouraged to wear red, pink, purple, and white to show their school spirit! We will go to the dance-a-thon and there will be treats available for purchase. If you wish your child to purchase treats, please send them with a little bit of money (I do not know the cost of items, and just found out about this). We'll keep track of change for each student. If you are sending in treats for our in-class celebration, please make sure they are nut-free and labelled as we have other allergies as well in our class. We are excited for all the fun activities that are planned for tomorrow.
